(Des Moines, WA) One of the region’s premier wine tasting events will return this year on Saturday, July 25th from 4 to 8 PM as the Poverty Bay Virtual Wine Fest. Now in its 16th year, the festival was one of the first celebrations to fall from the calendar in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. Destination Des Moines and Rotary Club of Des Moines/Normandy Park will host Waterland Art Walk and Scavenger Hunt July 11 and 12, 2020, in the Des Moines Marina District. Art Walk features art by local artists and chalk art along Marine View Drive South. Scavenger hunt clues will be available on Facebook @destinationdesmoines on July 11 and 12. Participants can walk the Marina District, photograph their finds and post the pictures to the Waterland Art Walk and Scavenger Hunt
